Xanadu JR. is inspired by the Tony Award-nominated Broadway musical and the Universal Pictures' cult classic movie that starred Olivia Newton-John and Gene Kelly. Xanadu JR. follows the journey of a magical and beautiful Greek muse, Kira, who descends from the heavens of Mt. Olympus to Venice Beach, California, on a quest to inspire a struggling artist, Sonny, to achieve the greatest artistic creation of all time – the first Roller Disco. (Hey, it's 1980!) But, when Kira falls into forbidden love with the mortal Sonny, her jealous sisters take advantage of the situation, and chaos abounds.

When are Auditions? Sunday, January 15th, 2023 - 10:00am-1:00pm at Center Stage Theatre
 

Rehearsals:

Sundays, 9:00am-1:00pm (Full Cast) & Wednesdays, 5:30-7:30pm (Full Cast)
Mondays, 5:30-7:30pm (Leads/Featured Roles/Small Groups)
**Full rehearsal schedule will be distributed at the first rehearsal on Sun., 1/22/23.**
 

Important/Mandatory Dates: 
Tech Week - February 27th through March 2nd
Performances - March 3rd through March 12th - dates and times to be announced

Participants should plan to sing one-minute of a song of a musical theatre or Xanadu JR. song of their choice. ALL participants will dance as a part of the callbacks on 1/18/23.
